Little Moon Menagerie began with a love for the small, unusual, and often overlooked creatures that make our world a little more wonderful.

What started with a fascination for animal care grew into a dream of creating a place where thoughtful husbandry and a little bit of magic could live side by side. From bustling colonies of tiny isopods to curious guinea pigs and other little companions, we believe every animal deserves care that considers more than simply keeping them alive—it should give them the opportunity to explore, forage, hide, play, and express the behaviours that make them who they are.

A Menagerie Made with Care 🎀

At Little Moon Menagerie, animal welfare sits at the heart of what we do. Our products are thoughtfully selected and developed with the needs of the animals they are intended for in mind, whether that means a nutrient-rich substrate for a tiny isopod colony or an enriching environment for a much larger companion.

We also believe good animal keeping begins with good information. That’s why education is an important part of our little world. We want our care guides, starter kits, and resources to help new keepers feel confident while encouraging experienced keepers to keep learning alongside us.

We know that our understanding of animals continues to evolve, too. We’re committed to learning, listening, and improving our recommendations as better husbandry knowledge becomes available.

Small Creatures, Big Wonder ✨

There is something magical about slowing down to notice the creatures we might otherwise overlook—the rustle of an isopod beneath a leaf, the excited squeak of a guinea pig, or the tiny ecosystems quietly flourishing inside a terrarium.

Little Moon Menagerie exists to celebrate those moments.

We hope to build more than a pet shop. We want to create a little community of curious, compassionate keepers who share our belief that even the smallest lives deserve thoughtful care.
