Armadillo officinalis
Meet the Spanish Isopod—a charming Mediterranean species with a beautifully rounded, armoured appearance. 🌙🤎 With their earthy grey-brown colouring and distinctive segmented shells, these little creatures look like miniature pieces of living armour wandering through the forest floor.
Unlike the speedy Powder varieties, Armadillo officinalis have a sturdier, more substantial appearance and can roll themselves into a protective ball when disturbed. They make a fascinating addition to a dedicated isopod collection and are especially lovely for keepers who enjoy observing natural behaviours.
Each order includes approximately 10 live Spanish isopods.
🌙 Tiny creatures, thoughtfully cared for.
